New Delhi: Today Ms. Deepa Verma, Director: FSL informed that laboratory has recruited scientific staff for the Crime Scene Management Division to constitute Mobile Forensic Crime Scene Units for further deployment at range locations. Senior officers of the laboratory are assigned to review the reports, supervise their working and to lead these units. Spaces have been allotted by Delhi Police in range wise locations. Now teams are required to be officially deputed at following appended six locations:
- Eastern Range at PS New Usmanpur to cover North East, Shahdara, East districts
- Western Range at PS Dwarka North to Outer, Dwarka and West districts
- Central Range at PS Sadar Bazar to cover Central and North districts
- New Delhi Range at Delhi Cant to cover New Delhi and South West districts.
- Southern Range at PS Greater Kailash to South West, South and South East districts
Northern Range at FSL, Rohini -14 itself to cover Rohini, Outer North, North West districts , Railways, Metro, Crime Branch, Anti Corruption, Spl. Branch, Vigilance and Others.
I/C CSMD Sh.Sanjiv Gupta Asst. Dir. said that “our team would reach in time at the scene of crime, so that exhibit would not destroy or putrefy.”
Dr. Rajnish Kumar Singh Asst.PRO informed that ” This deployment of Mobile Forensic Crime Scene Units in 6 ranges will convey a positive message because it would provide forensic support round the clock. Teams assistance to law enforcement agency at scene of crime would certainly help to increase the conviction rate. “
In inaugural ceremony, Hon’ble Minister of Home Sh. Satyendar Kumar Jain awarded the authorization Certificate to all six ranges along with Head Quarter Crime Scene Management Division, FSL Rohini in presence of Sh. Srinarain Asst. Director, Sh. Sanjiv Gupta Incharge Crime Scene Management Division, Sh. Anurag Sharma Asst. Director, Sh. Parashuram AD, Dr. Amar pal AD, Dr. Virendra Singh Asst. Director, Sh. VR Anand Asst. Director, Sh. DS Paliwal, Asst. Director, Sh. Sarvesh SSO, Dr. Rajnish Singh and other officers of the laboratory.
