New Delhi: Addressing a press conference held at Pradesh Office today in connection with the preparations being made for Dhanyavaad Rally for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 22nd December at Ramlila Maidan, Pradesh President Shri Manoj Tiwari said that in view of the zeal and eagerness of the people with getting ownership rights after the decision of regularizing unauthorized colonies by Modi Government, it is quite obvious that this massive rally at Ramlila Maidan is going to be a historical rally. He said that Prime Minsiter Shri Narendra Modi will address this massive rally on 22nd December in which residents of all the unauthorized colonies will be present and the Pradesh BJP will thank Prime Minister. MP Shri Ramesh Bidhuri, LOP Shri Vijendra Gupta, Pradesh General Secretary Shri Kuljeet Singh Chahal, Pradesh Media Co-incharge Shri Neelkanth Bakshi, Media Head Shri Ashok Goel Devraha and former Media Head Shri Mahesh Verma were present in the press conference.
Giving detailed information about the preparations being made by Pradesh BJP in this connection, Shri Manoj Tiwari said that the people of unauthorized colonies were living in hellish conditions and were called unauthorized but now Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given ownership rights to more than 40 lakhs people of those colonies and ensured them a respectful life. After the regularization of those colonies, the people are celebrating, playing drums, distributing sweets and all of them want to thank Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. We apprised Shri Modi Ji about this and invited him to attend the massive rally on 22nd December in Ramlila Maidan for this purpose. Shri Modi accepted our invitation, lakhs of people of unauthorized colonies will participate in this rally.
Shri Tiwari also informed that Delhi BJP will initiate a signature campaign on 14-15 December and collect 11 lakh signatures thanking Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Under this campaign, signatures of the people living in unauthorized colonies will be collected. He also said that Bhoomi-Pujan will be performed in Ramlila Maidan of 17th December and the BJP Yuva Morcha workers will hold 70 motorcycle rallies in 70 Assembly Constituencies on 17th December. The people of unauthorized colonies will also accompany the BJP workers in these rallies.
Shri Tiwari further said that DDA has already set up 25 camps to facilitate registration of houses/land and by 18th December 25 more camps will be set up. In all these 50 camps the BJP workers will extend help to these people. He said that on 18th, 19th, 20th December, 350 Nukkad Sabha will be held in the 1731 unauthorized colonies which are now regularized. Senior BJP leaders will also participate in it. On 18th, 19th, 20th December, senior BJP leaders will also take out Padyatras and apprise the people about the historic decision of regularizing unauthorized colonies by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
