New Delhi: Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal today presented 5 years Report Card of his Government before the media. Giving his reactions to this Report Card, Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari said that actually this report card of the Aam Aadmi Party is not an account of the tenure of this Government but a report of false claims and delusion through which Kejriwal is once again trying to mislead the people of Delhi. The Chief Minister who had made 70 promises and spokes 74 lies is praising himself in the report card whereas the reality is quite contrary. Chief Minister of Delhi claims to have made revolutionary changes in the education must tell the people where are those 500 new schools and 20 new colleges for which he had promised? There are about 21 lakh students in Delhi but there is great shortage of teachers for them and due to which the education of these children is being affected. Delhi Government had to appoint 20,000 teachers but not a single teacher has been appointed on regular basis whereas the tenure of this Government is coming to an end. This Government has committed corruption of 2000 crore rupees in the name of constructing new classrooms. This Government has looted the public money in the name of education in Delhi.
Shri Tiwari said that Kejriwal Government has also been making false claims about improving the health services in Delhi but this Government has completely failed to provide the basic amenities in hospitals. The Aam Aadmi Party Government had formed Rogi Kalyan Samities and the MLAs were appointed as their Chairman. These Samities were authorized to give financial assistance up to 75 lakh rupees in which a provision of top up of Rs. 5 lakh was also made if needed. According to an information received through and RTI, the fund allotted to the Rogi Kalyan Samities has not been utilized which should have been utilized for providing amenities in the hospitals of Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party MLAs misused this fund for its own promotion. There is shortage of ICU Beds, Ventilators, Monitors, Infusion Pumps, Gas Pipelines etc in Government Hospitals. These are the equipments which are needed for the treatment of the patients. Even in GB Pant Hospital, LNJP, Satyawadi Harish Chandra, Deep Bandhu, Baba Sahab Ambedkar, GTB hospitals such facilities are not sufficient.
Shri Tiwari further said that Kejriwal Government played a drama of initiating campaign against Dengue and misused the public money by issuing personal advertisements and affixing big hoardings for his own political gain. The water in Delhi is completely polluted and this water is being supplied to the houses but the Chief Minister is claiming in his report card that we have supplied potable drinking water in Delhi. This is white lie nothing else. According to the report of BIS, the water samples in Delhi have failed on 19 standards. Kejriwal Government also claimed to make the transport system in Delhi as number one but actually it has paralyzed DTC. Delhi requires 11000 buses but only 38 buses are in the service at present. As a result the people have to wait for hours for buses. The Chief Minister also created hindrance in the work of Metro Phase – IV and deprived the people of better connectivity. Producing Report Card is a good thing but it should not be used for making false claims. The 5 years Report Card of Kejriwal Government is an attempt to mislead the people and they very well understand it. People know that only BJP Government with full majority can ensure proper development of Delhi.
