“Huge Kalash Yatra in West Bengal’s Asansol to Mark Renovation of 100-Year-Old Temple, Thousands of Women Participate”

A massive Kalash Yatra was held in the district of Asansol in West Bengal, in which thousands of women participated. The yatra was organized by social worker Krishna Prasad to mark the renovation of a 100-year-old temple. The temple houses a 100-year-old peepal tree.While on one hand, temples and idols are being destroyed in some parts of West Bengal, on the other hand, a picture emerged of a campaign led by social worker Krishna Prasad in Asansol, West Bengal. Old and dilapidated temples are being renovated, and efforts are being made to provide water to the water-scarce Asansol and other social services are being carried out continuously. Once again, after the renovation of the temple, thousands of women placed a Kalash on their heads and carried out the Kalash Yatra, and a Rudrabhishek puja was performed in the temple.
