‘Savarkar Darshan Pratishthan’ is organising a two-day long All India Conference from February 26 to February 27, 2020 in New Delhi on Savarkar’s life, thoughts, ideas and philosophy – ‘Akhil Bharatiya Swatantrayvir Savarkar Sahitya Sammelan’.
The objective of the conference is to highlight the RELEVANCE OF SAVARKAR’S THOUGHTS IN THE PRESENT CONTEST. His persona and deeds are incomparable in the history of modern India. His commitment to the cause of freedom struggle and ideological perspective has made him a great person. He was source of inspiration for millions of freedom fighters of India, said Ravindra Sathe, Secretary, Savarkar Darshan Pratishthan.
Former governor of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and president organizing committee O P Kohli said, “Awakening national pride was the most notable attempt by Sawarkar ji by connecting with the our ancient tradition and roots. He faced torture by the colonial masters for his contribution in the freedom struggle. He never shied away from his stand of having pride for Hindutva ideology despite onslaught made on him for being narrow minded.”
Raj Kumar Bhatia, Secretary, Reception Committee, said, “There is a need to develop proper information and understanding about Sawarkar ji and we will try that this programme is able to achieve its objective.”
“Now, it is the time to understand and propagate ideas, thoughts and contribution of Veer Savarkar. This national convention will certainly help not only to understand him better but his philosophy as well,” said Dr Sanjeev Tiwari, Joint Secretary, Organising Committee.
National President of the BJP Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda will be the Chief Guest at the Inaugural session on February 26 and session will be presided over by Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari.
