BJP Delhi President Manoj Tiwari writes to the Prime Minister Narender Modi to observe the Martyrdom Day of younger sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji as Children Day

New Delhi: BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Manoj Tiwari has written a letter to the Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi demanding observing the Martyrdom Day of younger sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji as Children Day.

In his letter Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari has said that since 1956, 14th November, the Birthday of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru is being observed as Children Day. The concept behind it is that the children were very much dear to Pt. Nehru but the children of our country have also sacrificed for the country and the highest sacrifice is of the younger sons of the 10th Guru of Sikhs Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji namely Sahibjaada Joravar Singh Ji and Sahibjaada Fateh Singh Ji. They sacrificed their lives for protecting the religion, fighting at Thanda Burj of Fatehgarh Sahib. In my opinion, if Children Day should be observed in the memory of the martyrdom of these great children then it will serve as a source of inspiration for all the children. This will also create a sense of pride among them and encourage them. Sahibjaadas the symbol of bravery and sacrifice deserve to be remembered on their martyrdom day in the form of Children Day.

In his letter, Shri Tiwari also said that we all should respect the martyrdom of these brave children. The bravery of these Sahibjaadas shows that they have protected the religion and the country by sacrificing their lives and it inspires patriotism among the children. Congress has always tried to suppress the history of our brave people and the history will not forgive them. Children Day should be observed in the memory of these Sahibjaadas to create sense of patriotism and for the bright future of the children.
