Guru Nanak Dev Ji is a unique symbol of the rich saint tradition of India – Manoj Tiwari

New Delhi:On the occasion of 550th Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Bharatiya Janata Party, Delhi Pradesh President Shri Manoj Tiwari along with Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla attended the Kirtan Durbar and Vishal Langar organized at Gurdwara Rakab Ganj. On this occasion, State General Secretary Shri Kuljeet Singh Chahal, Media Co-incharge Shri Neelkant Bakshi, District President Shri Anil Sharma and Yuva Morcha President Shri Sunil Yadav were present.

Greeting the people of Delhi on the 550th Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev ji, Karthik Purnima and Dev Deepawali, Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari said that today is a special day and in this way Mahasanayog is also being made which is especially fruitful. While on the one hand people are worshiping Lord Lakshminarayana on Kartik Purnima and Dev Diwali in the country, on the other hand, the whole nation is celebrating 550th Prakash Parv of the first Sikh Guru Nanak Dev Ji with great joy. Guru Nanak Dev Ji is a unique symbol of India’s rich saint tradition. His teachings, thoughts and his resolve to serve humanity are an inspiration for us. The teaching of Guru Nanak Dev always inspires us to remove discrimination from human race. India is a symbol of unity in diversity is shining with the joys of festivals. All of us should take blessings of our elders and give spare some time for human service.

Shri Tiwari said that the work of opening Kartarpur Sahib Corridor has become possible today due to the strong will power of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Now the Sikh community will be able to easily visit the place associated with the last years of the life of their first Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This is a major achievement for the Sikh community which the Sikh society will remember for centuries. I thank Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on behalf of all Sikh society living in Delhi for this historic step.

Shri Tiwari said that the Sikh community has benefited directly from the important decisions taken by the Central Government. From Guru Nanak Dev Ji to Guru Govind Ji many Gurus have sacrificed for the unity and security of India. This tradition has been played by the Sikh comrades with full power in the freedom struggle and defense of India. The nation cannot forget the sacrifice of Sikhs. Their sacrifices remain an inspiration for today’s young generation. Guru Nanak Dev ji dedicated his life to human service and showed the path of social welfare to people by following the path of religion.
