Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari and LOP Vijender Gupta demand the Lt. Governor to dissolve high power committee

New Delhi: In a Joint Press Conference held at Delhi BJP Office today, Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari and LOP Shri Vijender Gupta said that the conditions in Delhi have been deteriorating for the last 20 years but sitting in opposition BJP is continuously fighting in the interest of the people under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi. Media Co-Incharge Shri Neelkant Bakshi and Media Head Shri Ashok Goel Devraha were present on this occasion.

Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari said that the DDA has waived conversion charges for the shops in local shopping complexes. It will directly benefit 50 thousand shopkeepers because now there will be no danger of sealing on these shops. The shopkeepers have been demanding for this waiver for long which has been granted with the cooperation of BJP’s Central Government.

Shri Tiwari also said that with the cooperation of Central Government household industries have been allowed power connection of 11 kw in place of 5 kw earlier and now 9 people can be employed in place of 5 people earlier. More than 4 lakh household industries will benefit by this decision. But Kejriwal Government is a hindrance in it because no objection certificate is required from high power committee. There has been no meeting of this high power committee of Kejriwal Government for long time. BJP demands the Lt. Governor that this high power committee should be dissolved.

LOP Shri Vijender Gupta said that now the traders may be able to get trade license online from MCD and in addition, camps will be organised by the MCD in the trade hubs of Delhi in which the BJP workers, councilors and the concerned officers will also be present. BJP is of the view that the traders should be provided licenses at their trading centers so that they may not have to run from pillar to post in the offices. This will help the traders who are contributing in the development of Delhi besides controlling corruption.
