BJP demands answer to the charges of the people, don’t divert debate from this issue- Manoj Tiwari

Strongly attacking the Aam Aadmi Party, Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari said that people of Delhi have demanded answer to the charge sheet of sins committed by Aam Aadmi Party. All the charges indicate that AAP has failed on all the fronts. The head of AAP has betrayed the people of Delhi. He has not only supported the people raising anti-national slogans but also tried to stop the 26th January Parade. AAP is trying to evade the reality by not answering the questions and now, is saying that we will do what BJP is saying. BJP and the people of Delhi seeks answer from them.

Shri Tiwari also said that now the Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has also demanded report card from the Municipal Corporations. He should know that this is the time of Delhi Assembly Elections, not for Corporation elections. You have to answer to the people, not we. Therefore, do not avoid debate and your demand about Municipal Corporations is just like Ulta Chor Kotwal Ko Daante. The State governments have to provide financial support to the Municipal Corporations so that they may provide amenities to the people. Delhi Government did not release Rs 4,000 crore to the corporations every year and this way government has strangled the Municipal Corporations. Delhi government failed to release Rs 20,000 crore to the three Municipal Corporations during the last 5 years which should have been given for providing amenities to the people.

Shri Tiwari further said that the Aam Aadmi Party government not only failed to give financial assistance to the Corporations but also tried to take credit for the good works done by Municipal Corporations of Delhi and wasted public money. Corporations completed the fogging work in every house of Delhi and taught the people how to protect from Dengue and the people who violated the orders were challenged by the Municipal Corporations. With the help of all these measures, Dengue has been controlled in Delhi but Kejriwal government issued advertisements costing Rs 14 crore for taking credit. The policy of Aam Aadmi Party is that credit should go to the persons who do not perform. BJP demands that you must answer the charges of the people, don’t divert debate on this issue.
