

New Delhi: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) celebrated World Hindi Day by promoting the use of Hindi in technical and management education. Prof. Rajive Kumar, Member Secretary of AICTE, marked the occasion by releasing 13 books written in Hindi under the Financial Assistance Scheme for publishing manuscripts on technical and management subjects. The authors of these manuscripts were also present at the event.
In his address, Prof. Rajive Kumar underscored the importance of making technical and management education more accessible to Hindi-speaking audiences. He lauded the pioneering initiative of publishing books on these specialized subjects in Hindi, calling it a milestone in inclusive education. He further praised AICTE Chairman Prof. T.G. Sitharam for his vision and efforts in fostering linguistic inclusivity in higher education. Prof. Kumar emphasized that these books are not limited to faculty and students but also aim to serve as a resource for the general public, bridging the language gap in education.
The 13 books launched cover diverse topics, including science and technology, environmental studies, painting, art, and policies inspired by Indian values, in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This initiative reflects AICTE’s commitment to promoting Indian languages and cultural identity in education.
Authors briefly introduced their works during the event and expressed gratitude to AICTE and Hariyana Granth Academy, Panchkula for publishing the books. The initiative is a significant step toward empowering Hindi-speaking individuals by providing them with high-quality educational resources in their native language.
