Aam Aadmi Party will lose the Assembly Elections on the issue of air pollution and contaminated water- Vijay Goel

New Delhi:Former Union Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Vijay Goel, attacked the Kejriwal government for dirty politics on the issue of pollution and contaminated water in Delhi while talking to the media persons at the Pradesh Office today. Pradesh Media Co-incharge Shri Neelkant Bakshi and Media Head Shri Ashok Goel Devraha were present on this occasion.

Rajya Sabha MP Shri Vijay Goel said that the Aam Aadmi Party will lose the upcoming Assembly Elections on the issue of pollution and dirty water. Every year Aam Aadmi Party government assured the people of Delhi that it would give clean water to Delhi and bring tap water to every household, but these claims also proved to be hollow. Kejriwal government is doing politics and is accusing the Haryana government of releasing dirty water to Delhi to justify itself. Delhi government did not do any work to clean the water for five years and kept doing the politics of accusing others. Even after Delhi’s water sample failed on BIS standards, the Kejriwal government did not take this issue seriously. The Praja Foundation report said that millions of children of Delhi suffered from diarrhea after drinking dirty water, but still the insensitive Kejriwal government did not take any strong steps.

Shri Goel said that Kejriwal had promised of cleaning the Yamuna in his manifesto, forgot the same after he came to power. Neither constituted a joint committee to deal with pollution nor set up 14 treatment plants required for it. The air in Delhi became so toxic that air purifiers were installed and people are drinking RO water for clean water. On one side, Kejriwal government has forced the poor living in Delhi to drink dirty water and the on other side, his ministers are drinking mineral water. I challenge the Kejriwal government to tell about a single step they have taken to clean the water of Delhi. BJP is concerned about the diseases caused by toxic air and dirty water in Delhi and is trying to deal with it because public interest is paramount for the BJP.
