New Delhi: Christmas is a festival of sharing and caring! It is the day that brings cheer and love. Soaking in the spirit of the festival, children celebrated the festival with great enthusiasm. Ryan International School, G-2, Sector-11, Rohini wore a festive look with bells, streamers and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. To live this spirit and feeling, several activities such as decorating Christmas Trees and Stockings, making Christmas Cards and Hand-crafted bells, snowman, reindeer, wreaths were organized for the students that truly showcased their love for the festival.
A Special Assembly on this beautiful occasion of Christmas was conducted by the dazzling Ryanites as a reminder that every gift which is given, even though small, is in reality great, if it is given with affection. The nativity play was enacted in a mesmerizing manner and engrossed every student with their heart touching performance. The little kings and queens showcased rocking and foot tapping dance on ‘jingle bell, jingle bell’. It was indeed the happy time for our kids. Our school looked like a Christmas wonderland that was filled with smiles and sparkles all around. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all the students. Indeed Christmas is the spirit of giving, without a thought of getting. It is happiness because we see joy in people. It is forgetting self and finding time for others. It is discarding the meaningless and stressing on the true values.
