Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Subhash Chopra termed DDA giving papers to 20 persons from unauthorized colonies for ownership rights as a “political stunt”. He said that both the BJP and Aam Aadmi Party have been caught on a vicious grip on the issue of regularization of unauthorized colonies, and to get out this trap, they were resorting to such cheap political stunts by giving out fraud papers.
Shri Chopra asked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia to explain to the people of Delhi whether the Delhi Government has accepted the conditions in the Gazette notification put by the BJP Government for the regularization of unauthorized colonies. He also asked the Delhi Government why it approved the decision to charge money for giving ownership rights to the people. Shri Subhash Chopra asked why did the Delhi Government approve the BJP Government’s move to make farm land as Government property.
Shri Mukesh Sharma asked the BJP Government and the AAP Government to answer why did they allow the DDA to charge Rs 1 lakh each from these 20 people whose houses are very small for getting ownership rights. He asked is it not a fact that Rs one lakh each was collected from 20 people by the DDA to issue slips for houses constructed on farm lands and they would have to further pay stamp duty during registry. He said that this shows that Congress’ allegations have proved to correct.
