New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson and MP Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi at Jantar Mantar and Delhi State Co-convener Shri Adesh Gupta in slums of Shakurbasti Cement Tire Store gave information about ‘Jahan Jhuggi, Wahan Makan’ scheme, filled the forms in the presence of hundreds of people and distributed calendars which give information about public welfare schemes of Modi government today. New Delhi District President Shri Anil Sharma, Councillor Smt. Vandana Jaitley were present on the occasion.
Addressing the slum dwellers, National Spokesperson and MP Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi said that the people of our country understand well, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi fulfills what he says. The way the Modi government has done the historic work of bringing the issues like Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Yojana, abolished Triple Talaq, Article 370 from Kashmir, paving the way for Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya and issues like CAA through Parliament. In the same way, in 2017, he had pledged that he would work to give a home to every homeless people of Delhi, now the time has come for the completion of that resolution. From Ramlila Maidan, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has spoken about implementing the resolution made by the government, after which the work of giving houses to the slums are being done by filling the form and taking details of the people.
‘Jahan Jhuggi, Wahan Makan’ scheme Delhi State Co-Convenor Shri Adesh Gupta said that we have seen many schemes going on in the country. People have also seen the rule of the Congress where the next election would come till the implementation of the schemes, but due to the public welfare behavior of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today with Sabka Saath, Sabka Sabka Vikas, with the announcement of the plans, the work of it starts. Jahan Jhuggi, Wahan Makan is one such scheme, we are sending the details of people by filling the form and soon people from economically weaker sections will start getting pucca houses under this scheme. BJP has done what it has said.
