The school prepares students to understand, contribute to, and succeed in a rapidly changing society, thus making the world a better and more than just a place. The function began on a solemn note, with a recitation from the Holy Bible, followed by a prayer. The afternoon commenced with a scintillating invocation Song and Dance.
A galaxy of dignitaries graced the occasion as guests of honour MR. SACHIN KAPOOR (Director & Head Business Development, Asia Pacific and China), MR. SURENDER PAHAL (President, National Kabaddi Association), MS. NEHA SHARMA (Partner, Ernst & Young India), MS. TARU MEHTA (Fellow & Area Convenor, Environment Education & Awareness Area), MR. PAWAN GUPTA (Consultant – Success Coach, Senior Management Educational Institutions), MR. GAURAV KUMAR (International Level Body Builder & Fitness Icon), MS. AARTI JAIN (Fitness Model, Power Lifter), MR. ALOK MASSEY (Actor, Mimicry’s Artist).
The day meticulously planned, by the students and staff of the school showcased the year’s activities to the parents and guests followed by the ceremonial function. Honoring and appreciating the achievers with accolades, Annual Prize Distribution Function for session 2019-20 was held with great zeal and enthusiasm
Students of the school presented the Dance Drama based on the theme “TOGETHER WE CAN”- Undoubtedly to proclaim that GOD created this universe and it is us who have to protect it.Illustrations culled from the rich literary heritage of India to accentuate the point and the meaning, have been made the vehicle to traverse the path of finding the truth. Folk, classic, martial and theatrical dance forms of India have been employed as the grammar of communication. The show involved most of the students of the school in a spectacular performance enriched with rich music, costume, dance, and mime. This narrative enacted by the students awakens each individual to take the lead, start a new beginning and build a bright future with life full of fragrance and colours.
A soulful rendition by the choir group, singing the song, ‘Swadesh Mera Swapn Hai’, ending with a plea to dispel the darkness and bring forth mutual harmony and trust, enthralled the audience.
Annual report of the session was also released and read by the students of Grade III. The most memorable moments of the function were marked by the precious words of advice and appreciation by the chief guest during an address to the parents. The Chief Guest, in his address urged students to hone and sharpen their talents and potentials to carve a niche for the nation. He opined that Education is incomplete without keeping in view the goal of serving one’s own country. The Guest of Honour applauded and blessed the prize winners with their bright future.
Mr. Navin Kumar Jaggi commended the efforts and initiatives of the school in providing quality education to the students. He urged the students to follow their dreams with passion, constructive imagination and determination without fear of failure in order to maximize their potential and capabilities.
Overall, the celebrations concluded on a happy note encouraging the students to establish further milestones in the journey of success.Through such events the school has as always endeavored to impart virtues to children, which is a very important and indispensable parameter in their holistic development.
