New Delhi: Talking to the media persons BJP National Spokesperson and New Delhi MP Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi said that today again the anti woman character of Arvind Kejriwal’s Party has been exposed. During a hearing of a petition filed by a convict in Nirbhaya case in the Court today the Government Advocate Rahul Mehra surprised the people of Delhi by arguing that since one of the convicts has filed mercy petition, the other convicts cannot be hanged now.
Previously, the Delhi Government kept the file connected with the accused of Nirbhaya case pending for long and today its advocate’s argument the Court is a proof of insensitivity of Arvind Kejriwal in this case. This Government has been trying to postpone punishment to the accused persons in Nirbhaya case. This is the difference between the practice and prophecy of Kejriwal Government.
Ridiculing the Dy. Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia on the issue of education Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi said that little has been done for the improvement of education but more has been done to commit corruption in the education department’s budget. The Government which has constructed one classroom at the cost of Rs. 28 lakh could give science labs to only 261 Government schools of Delhi during the last five years tenure. 60% of the schools of Delhi don’t have Principles and there is also shortage of teachers. Budget allocation was increased by Kejriwal Government but the benefit of this increase went to the volunteers of AAP in place of the people of Delhi. The pass percentage of Government schools in 2015 was 95% which has gone down to 71%.
Smt. Lekhi also said that the Government also talked about digitalisation in schools but nothing was done at the ground level. Grant of education loan became a show because only 30-35 students have been granted education loan during the last five years.
