New Delhi: Exposing the claims made by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal regarding supply of water in Delhi, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Manoj Tiwari and MP Shri Ramesh Bidhuri addressed a Press Conference at Pradesh Office today. A video was also displayed in which the reality test of the water being supplied in Sant Nagar and Kamalpur of Burari, Palam’s Mahavir Enclave and Karawal Nagar’s D Block Khajoori was shown. Here the people brought the polluted water being supplied and complaint that neither the pipeline has been replaced nor clean water is being supplied. We have to change the water tank twice a week because of the stinking water is being supplied due to which even the clothes are stinking. Children are falling ill but nobody is taking care of them. Media Incharge Shri Pratyush Kanth, Co-Incharge Shri Neelkant Bakshi, Media Head Shri Ashok Goel Devraha were also present.
Pradesh President Shri Manoj Tiwari released helpline number to lodge complaint against supply of poisonous water. On this number complaints may be lodged by sending Audio-Video and Photos. The Helpline Number is 89801 89801 and this number can also be used for sending Whatsapp message. In addition emails can also be sent on dillikapanizehrila@gmail.com for lodging complaints. Shri Tiwari said that there should be no politics on the issue of water but Delhi BJP has to take every step to save the lives of the people of Delhi and for ensuring clean drinking water. The complaints received through helpline number will also be forwarded to the Hon’ble Supreme Court and the Central Government so that pressure can be created on Delhi Government for supplying pure drinking water.
Shri Tiwari also said that the claims made by the Chief Minister regarding replacing the pipelines have been exposed. If the Chief Minister of Delhi wants to do anything for clean water then he should issue a list of 32 Officers of Delhi Jal Board alongwith the team of 32 Officers of BIS and get the samples tested wherever he wants. The reality will come out and the liar will be exposed. Why Kejriwal is not accepting a joint team of Officers to test the water samples. BJP expects that after the strong observations of Hon’ble Supreme Court good sense will prevail upon Chief Minister Kejriwal on the issue of polluted water. BJP pledges to provide clean air and clean drinking water to the people of Delhi within three years of coming to power in Delhi.
MP Shri Ramesh Bidhuri said that poisonous and stinking water is being supplied in the lanes and Mohallas of Delhi and every child, youth, senior citizens have been complaining but Delhi Government did not listen. People are compelled to purchase drinking water and the DJB Chairperson Arvind Kejriwal is hand in glove with the Tanker Mafia. The people of Delhi will give him a befitting reply in the forthcoming Assembly Elections.
