New Delhi: In a Press Conference held today, former Delhi BJP President and Rajyasabha MP Shri Vijay Goel said that the list issued by the Aam Aadmi Party of the candidates for Assembly Elections contain the names of persons most of whom have criminal background, involved in serious offenses against women, involved in communal and anarchist activities endangering the peace and harmony of Delhi.
Former MLA Shri Kapil Mishra, Media Incharge Shri Pratyush Kanth and Media Head Shri Ashok Goel Devraha were present in the press conference.
Playing an audio clip of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Shri Vijay Goel said that in the year 2013 the Chief Minister is saying that he will never compromise on four matters, first is corruption, second character, third crime and fourth communalism. Kejriwal claimed that if any candidate is found involved in any of the aforesaid matter then he will cancel the ticket of such candidates. But after seeing the list of the candidates of AAP, it has become clear that there is great difference between practice and prophecy of Kejriwal. Aam Aadmi Party is taking the politics to a very low level only to remain in power.
There are many instances depicting the characters of the candidates of AAP which claim to be doing politics of purity and transparency. AAP has again given ticket to former Law Minister Jitender Tomar from Tri Nagar whose law degree was fake.
Shri Vijay Goel further said that Kejriwal tweeted to the people of Delhi to agitate against CAA, Dy. Chief Minister Manish Sisodia posted false video on social media to defame the Police Jawan. Aam Aadmi Party is fielding such persons in the Assembly Elections who have been involved in breaching peace, harmony and fraternity.
A supporter of Shariat Law Sohaib Iqbal has been given ticket from Matia Mahal and who is facing 30 various cases and also involved in communal politics, violence and issuing anti Hindu statements. MLA Amantullah Khan is one step ahead who had openly said to the Muslims that if CAA is implemented then their Namaz, Loud Speaker and Burka will be banned, such persons who instigated riot has been given ticket.
Another candidate Abdul Rehman accused of instigating riot in Seelampur has also been given ticket. Durgesh Pathak was found to have link with Khalistani terrorist. Congress and Aam Aadmi Party leaders shared the stage with the agitators against CAA and also instigated Muslims to stage demonstrations.
Minister Satyender Jain and MLA Akhilesh Pati Tripathi who have been involved in many cases of corruption are among the candidates of AAP. Somnath Bharti, Dinesh Mohania, Prakash Jarwal who have been involved in serious crimes against women have found their place in the list of candidates of AAP which has been claiming to provide security to women. MLA Sharad Chauhan is also one of the candidates who was involved in the case of a AAP worker Soni Mishra who had been advised to compromise. Dinesh Mohania and Nitin Tyagi who had assaulted Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash have also been given ticket this time. Naresh Balyan was also charged with violating the Model Code of Conduct during the last elections because crates of wine were found under his possession, is also a candidate this time.
Shri Vijay Goel said that Minister Kailash Gehlot and Satyender Jain are facing of Dis-propionate Assets cases and other income tax cases and Ram Singh Netaji a famous land mafia who joined AAP two days ago, has also been given ticket. It is very sad that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal could not curb pollution in Delhi but he has certainly fielded tainted candidates for Delhi Assembly Elections. Now, the people will decide whether they want leaders having criminal image to rule Delhi or not.
