The functionbegan on a solemn note, with a recitation from the Holy Bible, followed by a prayer. Theafternoon commenced with a scintillating invocation Song and Dance.A galaxy of dignitaries graced the occasion as guests of honour MR. ALOK MASSEY(Actor, Mimicry’s Artist).The day meticulously planned, by the students and staff of the school showcased the year’sactivities to the parents and guests followed by the ceremonial function.
Honoring andappreciating the achievers with accolades, Annual Prize Distribution Function for session2019-20 was held with great zeal and enthusiasmStudents of the school presented the Dance Drama based on the theme “TOGETHER WECAN”- Undoubtedly to proclaim that GOD created this universe and it is us who have toprotect it.Illustrations culled from the rich literary heritage of India to accentuate the pointand the meaning, have been made the vehicle to traverse the path of finding the truth.
Folk, classic, martial and theatrical dance forms of India have been employed as the grammar ofcommunication. The show involved most of the students of the school in a spectacularperformance enriched with rich music, costume, dance, and mime. This narrative enactedby the students awakens each individual to take the lead, start a new beginning and build abright future with life full of fragrance and colours.A soulful rendition by the choir group, singing the song, ‘Swadesh Mera Swapn Hai’,ending with a plea to dispel the darkness and bring forth mutual harmony and trust,enthralled the audience.Annual report of the session was also released and read by the students of Grade III.
Themost memorable moments of the function were marked by the precious words of adviceand appreciation by the chief guest during an address to the parents. The Chief Guest, inhis address urged students to hone and sharpen their talents and potentials to carve a nichefor the nation. He opined that Education is incomplete without keeping in view the goal ofserving one’s own country. The Guest of Honour applauded and blessed the prize winnerswith their bright future.Mr. Navin Kumar Jaggi commended the efforts and initiatives of the school in providingquality education to the students. He urged the students to follow their dreams withpassion, constructive imagination and determination without fear of failure in order tomaximize their potential and capabilities.Overall, the celebrations concluded on a happy note encouraging the students to establishfurther milestones in the journey of success.Through such events the school hasas;always;endeavored;to impart virtues to children, which is a very important andindispensable parameter in their holistic development.
