New Delhi: It’s been twenty days since many politicians and millions of NEET and JEE aspirants have been urging PM Narendra Modi and Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal to postpone JEE and NEET 2020, but no one has got any positive assurance from the government yet. The government confirmed on August 21, that there will be no further delay in the NEET and JEE exams and that it will be held in September according to the revised schedule. The announcement came days after the Supreme Court dismissed the student petition seeking postponement of the JEE and NEET exams. Desperate to be heard, students remain apprehensive about the exams and some continue to protest.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that JEE will be held from September 1 to 6 and NEET on September 13. This comes amid demands from students and parents to postpone the entrance exams in view of the surge in COVID-19 cases.
