Isha Bhandari is a name among the eminent women of India who is walking the path to make a difference in the lives of Indian women. An International Social Scientist, Chairperson DSB Foundation, Global Goodwill Ambassador India, Advisor to National & International Charities. She has to her credit National and International Campaigns on Women Health. She has voiced many forums in India and abroad and she has also been a TEDx Speaker, Madagascar.

Recently Isha was designated as Director India for Global Goodwill Ambassadors Foundation, US which is a United Nations affiliate partner of the UN SDG’s action campaign.

Women’s rights and gender equality are taking centre stage in 2020.International Women’s Day is an opportunity to use the platforms to empower each other and support women everywhere who are mobilizing for an equal future.

Isha Bhandari quotes , “Prioritizing and breaking down the barriers for gender parity, women in India have come a long way. Let’s celebrate her social, economic, cultural and political accomplishments she has so far achieved in India.”

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is, “I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights.” The Generation Equality campaign is bringing together people of every gender, age, ethnicity, race, religion and country, to drive actions that will create the gender-equal world we all deserve. The UN and the Global communities are taking this as a priority.” states Isha.

UN Secretary-General, António Guterres has quoted, “Let’s make sure women and girls can shape the policies, services and infrastructure that impact all our lives. And let’s support women and girls who are breaking down barriers to create a better world for everyone.”

Isha Bhandari is certainly an inspiration for Indian Women. Having received many National and International Awards, she knows that the only way to be a successful woman is to be a strong woman; she knows her strengths and allows them to maximize her vision to serve the society.
