New Delhi, 10 May. Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari has expressed deep grief over the death of the teacher of North Delhi Municipal Corporation, suffering from Corona while on duty of distribution of ration in Burari. He demanded compensation of Rs 1 crore from the Delhi government to the families of the deceased teacher and job to one of her family member. Accusing Delhi government’s mismanagement of disaster management policies responsible for the teacher’s death, Shri Tiwari said that the Delhi government’s negligence in the name of prevention of Corona in Delhi is proving fatal. To hide their failures, Arvind Kejriwal sometimes plays with the statistics of deaths, sometimes he is trying to put Corona warriors in the face of the pandemic with no security measures to create the scope of corruption.
Shri Tiwari said that Delhi lost another Corona warrior. Municipal Corporation teachers of Delhi are doing duty of distributing ration day and night without any holiday. It is the moral responsibility of the Delhi government to ensure the safety of the Corona warriors but the Chief Minister of Delhi is busy in serving his political loins. In a race to take credit, he has put humanity on the ledge.
Shri Manoj Tiwari alleged that Arvind Kejriwal is misusing government resources to pursue his petty politics and the death of a teacher in Burari is evident example of that. The Corona warriors could have been saved from a major risk along with social distancing if the Delhi government had done the work of distributing free rations given by the Central government to the homes of consumers in Delhi. Whether it is the context of opening liquor shops or the system of ration distribution, the Delhi government is recklessly gathering crowds of the needy and courting Corona, so instead of misusing government resources, those engaged in the prevention of the pandemic should be protected. Special attention should be given and it is necessary that the misuse of the government funds should be stopped.
